If you manage a Facebook page, you may have noticed that your posts are not having the type of reach or impact that they used to get. It’s as if all of a sudden, the same types of posts that would drive excellent engagement with your page members, now barely cause a blip.
Don’t worry, you’re not doing anything wrong and it’s got nothing to do with your page… Facebook reduced page reach and is reducing the number of members that can see your posts yet again.
As background of Facebook throttling the number of people that can see your posts, in June 2012, it was estimated that 16% of your page members got to see your posts – that number has been reduced yet again by Facebook in the effort of forcing page owners to buy paid ads to reach their own page members.

If you are a regular reader of Breakthrough Digital Marketing, you will know that I am a HUGE proponent of having your own email list of subscribers which you control, and which no service like Twitter or Facebook can simply turn around and change their terms of service on you.
If you are subscribed to the Beakthrough Digital Marketing eNewsletter, you’ll see that I run all my email marketing lists and newsletters using an email marketing service called AWeber.
I use this service on all my websites, have used them for many years and I highly recommend it to any of the businesses I work with and consult with.
