I am currently developing and executing the online marketing portion of the marketing plan for HSM’s highly exclusive, senior level Elite Leadership Program.

The ELP, as we call it internally at HSM, is a very limited capacity, 2 day program with a faculty that features the following four top business leaders:

Jim Collins: Co-author of four books – including Built to Last, and the New York Times bestseller, GOOD TO GREAT. His most recent book, HOW THE MIGHTY FALL: And Why Some Companies Never Give In, was published in 2009.

A.G. Lafley: Led Procter & Gamble, the world’s largest consumer goods company for over nine years. Under his leadership, P&G focused on consumer driven innovation and consistent, reliable, sustainable growth. During his time at the helm, sales doubled, profits quadrupled, and the company’s market value increased by over $100 billion dollars.

Meg Whitman: As CEO of eBay, she helped build eBay into an unparalleled $8 billion online commerce engine with 15,000 employees.

Jack Welch: Former CEO of General Electric. His leadership and management innovations were a key element in increasing GE’s market value by $387 billion during his time in charge.

As part of the comprehensive marketing plan execution to drive awareness of the event, we are “redecorating” HSM’s social media profiles to reflect the ELP.

This means that all the customizable elements of each social media profile are being branded with the colors, images and descriptive text for the program.

For example, we have changed the background and profile picture of HSM America’s Twitter so it matches the ELP and presents information about the event to our Twitter followers (featured on the graphic at beginning of this post.)

We are doing the same with our other social media properties as well.

By taking advantage of all this additional online real estate and “decorating” it with ELP branding, HSM is able to place primary focus on the Elite Leadership  Program and drive additional awareness of this new event within the entire mix of offline and online marketing actions.

In case you are wondering, HSM’s Elite Leadership Program will be taking place on November 7-8 in New York City at the luxurious Jumeirah Essex House Hotel.
